Omar Afuni - Alive.

This boy continues to slay me with everything he does! I love this new track, which he released on his birthday, June 13th. One of the things that inspires me the most about Omar is his independence. He writes, produces, records, and releases everything 100% by himself, and on his own terms. I asked him the other day what this new song meant to him:

“This song is a sort-of continuation from where (the last album) ‘Resurrect Me’ ended. I’m really ‘alive’ now, and I’m enjoying the gift of life that I was given. It’s about having fun and enjoying yourself. The new album (that this song is from) will be about celebrating your identity and enjoying yourself… There’s not much romance going on right now lol.”
