“Where Are You Now?” (Chasing Pluto Remix) - Queen of Hearts.

Check out this remix of “Where Are You Now?” It’s a collaboration between two new pop acts whom I’m extremely excited for; Queen of Hearts and Chasing Pluto.

Oooooh I just love spring so much. Even though I always get so busy, it’s mostly the “good” kind of busy (VACATION PLEASE!). Every year as the final patches of snow start to melt, and the sun starts sticking around longer, everything begins to look and sound prettier to me. In my rush however, I almost missed this tweet the other day:

I’m glad that even in my haste, I was smart enough to “favorite” this thinking hopefully later I’d check it out. I didn’t even realize that the name of a Queen of Hearts song was in the tweet’s URL at the time. I finally did check it out just now, and TAH-DAH, it’s my new favorite song for probably at least the next couple of days.

Queen of Hearts is similar to many of the new solo-girl/pop-birds around right now. The good ones, that is. Truth is I haven’t heard much of her stuff yet, but everything I have heard, I’ve really liked. She has a very fancy looking website with basically nothing on it right here. Go to her Soundcloud though, where you can listen to the original version of this song, as well as her other fabulous song “Freestyle” plus a bunch of remixes (many free downloads! :)

Her MySpace says this about her:

Well all of that sounds very good to me.

Chasing Pluto are also from the UK, they’re a boy/girl duo of Jamal Hadaway and Corinne Shields who have remixed this Queen of Hearts song. They also have some very good jams of their own. I’m not usually a big fan of the musical duos where “now there’s a girl singing” and “now there’s a guy singing” within one track, but I really like their songs so I’m over it. As with Queen of Hearts, the best place to check these guys out is on Soundcloud. Their website describes them like this:
