The Monster Symphony - Aston Band.

This just slayed me. Two of my favorite things - Lady Gaga and classical music - all rolled into one.

Aston are an Australian classical musical group from Sydney. They garnered a lot of attention after their cover of Gaga’s “Telephone” racked up over 700 000 hits on YouTube in a month. Shortly after that, they were signed to Warner’s Music label. Aston were also given the opportunity to play this symphony to Gaga herself when she was in Australia earlier this year. 

As my pal Elliot pointed out, this song does a great job at outlining the musicality of Gaga’s material. The video is also a gorgeous production in and of itself. Full of al sorts of over-the-top love-lost drama.
